Do not stay in a weak or inactive alliance for too long. In many servers, stronger alliances are protected by NAP rules, which means top alliances often avoid attacking each other. Small alliances outside that group can become easy targets.

A good alliance gives you protection, help with timers, event access and better guidance. If your alliance is inactive, move early. Waiting too long can cost you resources, time and safety.

City Hall is one of the most important progression gates in Lands of Jail. It unlocks higher troop tiers, more buildings, more hero capacity and better access to alliance war content.

The efficient way to progress is not to upgrade every building equally. Focus on the buildings required for the next City Hall level. If a building is not needed right now, upgrading it may only delay your main progress.

A clean City Hall path is usually better than a “beautiful” base full of unnecessary upgrades.

Lands of Jail has plundering, so unprotected resources can become a target. Your Warehouse protects part of your resources from being stolen.

Do not let huge amounts of resources sit above your Warehouse protection limit, especially before going offline. Either spend them on useful upgrades, keep them in protected items, or improve your Warehouse.

A weak Warehouse can turn you into an easy farm for stronger players.

Do not waste speedups on every small timer. Early upgrades often finish quickly enough without them.

Speedups are more valuable when they help you break through an important wall, such as a City Hall requirement, key research, or alliance war eligibility. Using them at the right moment gives much more value than spending them just because you are impatient.

If a timer is short, consider waiting. Save speedups for upgrades that actually block progress.

Dungeon prisoners can give different bonuses. Some help with attack power, some reduce build time, and others improve factory profits.

Do not leave the same prisoners active all the time without thinking. If you are about to push buildings, use prisoners that help construction. If you are preparing for combat, switch to attack-related bonuses. If you are short on money, use profit bonuses.

This is one of the easiest ways to get more value without spending extra resources.

Hero shards are limited. If you invest a little into every hero, you will end up with several weak heroes and no strong core.

It is better to focus on a few heroes that actually help your main team. A well-built core hero is usually more useful than six half-built legendary heroes.

Before spending rare shards, ask yourself whether that hero fits your current team and long-term plan.

Training Camp is important because it improves your inmates and helps your army grow stronger. Troop production also matters because shooters, bombers and shieldbearers are used constantly.

Do not let your training queues sit empty for long periods. If you are online, keep training. If you are going offline, start longer queues when possible.

Consistent training gives steady power growth without needing big spending.

Passive income is easy to ignore, but it adds up. Vending machine profits and factory income help support upgrades, training and general account growth.

This does not mean you need to check the game every few minutes. But when you log in, collect your profits and put them back into useful progress.

Free income is part of your economy. Do not leave it sitting there.
