Rogue Legend is an action roguelike RPG where every run sends your hero into a board-based adventure full of monsters, upgrades, treasure, shops, buffs, debuffs, and boss fights. Instead of simply moving through regular stages, players roll the dice, land on different tiles, and react to whatever event appears next.

Our prediction based on past updatesGuide & Tips for Rogue Legend
Helpful tips to progress faster, spend resources wisely, and avoid common mistakes. The shop lets you spend gems on different chests and artifact summons, but that does not mean every pull is worth it. Chromatic chests can give stronger S-Epic equipment, while silver chests are cheaper, and you also get obsidian chest keys just by playing; the Reddit starter guide notes that obsidian chests guarantee one epic equipment every 10 pulls.
For a new player, the important point is simple: do not burn gems just because the shop is available. Use free keys, learn which gear you actually need, and save gems for more meaningful progress.
Equipment merging is more complicated than “merge duplicates forever.” Up to Epic, you need the same equipment several times, but after Epic the formula changes: Epic to Epic+1 can use any equipment of the same type, Epic+1 to Epic+2 needs two of the same type, and higher rarities start requiring specific upgraded copies again.
This means you should not casually consume useful duplicates. A piece that looks like extra gear now may be needed later to push your main item toward Gold or Mythic.
Tower Challenge is one of the most important progression modes because it gives enhancement stones, advancement scrolls and gold. The Reddit guide specifically points out that advancement scrolls, not stones, become the bigger bottleneck later.
Do not ignore Tower Challenge if your gear progress slows down. Better equipment levels and breakthroughs depend on these resources, so the tower is not just optional side content.
Dungeon Dive is valuable because it gives gems, keys, wishes and star fragments, with wishes and star fragments becoming especially important after a completed run. Artifacts are obtained through wishing, and star fragments are used to upgrade them.
If your runs feel stuck, do not only chase better gear. Artifact upgrades can add the kind of damage or conditional bonuses your build needs.
Artifacts can boost different damage types and conditions, such as extra damage to burning or wounded enemies. But the Reddit guide gives a more useful tip: when you can select an artifact from an event, check the artifact “Sets” page first, because completing a 4-piece set can give a strong stat boost.
That is much better than choosing the artifact that looks strongest alone. In Rogue Legend, a set bonus can be more valuable than one random powerful-looking artifact.
Pets are useful, but spending gems to summon them is not recommended in the Reddit guide because you get many eggs just by playing. Pet rarity unlocks through Pet Summon Level, with Legendary pets at level 8 and Mythic pets at level 12.
Use the eggs the game gives you and let pet progress build naturally. Gems are too valuable to waste on a system that already gives steady free summon resources.
Do not ignore common or lower-rarity pets completely. The Reddit starter guide notes that pet levels give stat boosts, especially every 5 levels, even for common pets.
That makes pet leveling a quiet source of account power. You do not need to overinvest, but leaving pets untouched means missing free stats.
Arena is not only PvP for ranking. It gives daily currency and more at the end of the season, and that currency can be exchanged for hero shards, keys, wishes and other useful items.
Even if you are not aiming for the top of the leaderboard, playing Arena consistently helps your account. Treat it as a steady source of progression currency.
The Hero event has a 400-pull guarantee for a Hero Soul, and the Reddit guide says both pity and Hero Soul carry over between rotations. That means you do not have to spend the Hero Soul on the current featured hero if it is not the one you want.
This is one of the most important event tips in the game. Do not panic-spend just because the event is rotating. Save the guaranteed reward for a hero or mythic artifact that actually fits your plan.
Chest Rush, Egg Rush and Artifact Rush reward you based on how many chests, pets or artifacts you open or summon. The Reddit guide describes these as good events for accumulating gems.
That means it can be smarter to hold some keys, eggs or wishes instead of using everything instantly. If a rush event is near, saving openings can turn normal progression into extra rewards.
