Our prediction based on past updatesGuide & Tips for Kingdom Clash
Helpful tips to progress faster, spend resources wisely, and avoid common mistakes.Power can be misleading in Kingdom Clash. You can lose to a lower-power opponent if your backline is exposed, your ranged units die too early, or your formation has no answer to assassins and gravediggers.
If you are stuck, do not only try to add more units. Change your formation. Move tanks, protect damage dealers, and test counters. A small placement change can do more than a big power increase.
Your ranged units usually deal a lot of your damage, so they need protection. If assassins or gravediggers reach them too quickly, your army can collapse even if your total power looks high.
Do not leave your back row completely open. Use tanks, imps, spiders, or other units to slow down enemy backline attackers. The goal is simple: keep your main damage dealers alive long enough to win the fight.
Units like Magic Archers, Alchemists, Undead Mages and Cursed Catapults usually work best in the rear half of your formation. They need time and space to deal damage.
That does not always mean placing every ranged unit on the very last row. Sometimes row 4, 5 or 6 works better because the unit starts attacking earlier while still staying protected.
Test different placements and check the battle result instead of using the same backline every time.
Some units are not just “frontline” or “damage” units. They are counters.
Exploding Spiders can help deal with assassins. Gravediggers and assassins can pressure the enemy backline. If the enemy keeps killing your ranged units, you may need more backline protection or a counter-unit in the right lane.
Do not place these units randomly. Think about what enemy unit they are supposed to stop.
Magic Archers and Alchemists are often more valuable than they look. A lower-level useful ranged unit can sometimes help more than one over-merged unit, especially if you need coverage across several lanes.
Do not merge every good unit immediately just because the button is available. In some formations, having several solid ranged units is better than having one higher-level unit and empty lanes.
This is especially important for Magic Archers, because they can help remove enemy spiders and hit important targets from a safer position.
Some early units are fine as temporary fillers, but they should not stay in your main formation forever. Butchers, Lancers, Bone Warriors and basic Catapults can help in the beginning, but stronger options usually replace them later.
Do not keep a weak unit only because it is already leveled. If a unit stops helping your formation, phase it out and give space to better damage dealers, tanks or counters.
Do not guess which unit is useful. Check the battle report.
The report can show which units dealt damage, which ones died too early, and which troops did almost nothing. This is one of the best ways to improve your formation.
If a unit has high power but low impact, it may be in the wrong place or simply not useful for that fight.
If you want to progress faster, do not ignore Headhunt and Arena. These modes can give useful rewards and help your account grow.
If the game offers ads for meaningful gold boosts or useful multipliers, they can be worth using, especially during progression pushes. Just do not waste time on ads that give very little value.
Focus on the rewards that actually help you upgrade, summon, merge or improve your formation.
